This may be the earlier version with only the one publisher name of Follett (have seen others with the Wilcox Follett name as publisher).There are 30 pages in this book including the pages on the interior cover and back interior cover (numbered page 31). I believe there may be a page missing in the front as the numbering is off (may be a blank page missing or ? one that had a graphic and design there is the detail page here with the date, etc. and the story starts on page four and the missing page does not seem to affect the overall story). Please do not purchase if this is a concern for you.There are some stains spots and a black mark similar to crayon on page five. Stains are towards the initial pages of the book. Please do not purchase if this is a concern for you.Great graphics and story from one of the most beloved authors. “The story tells of the wonderful adventures of Keeko, Happy Jack Cottontail, Eddie Eagle, and that bad fellow Meany Cat who gets Keeko into no end of trouble as he searches for feathers to place in his headband. This is a grand picture book, the kind that children too young to read can follow with delight just by looking at the illustrations. And young and old never get over chuckling at the vivid, almost human expression on Mr. Thorson’s animal characters”. The majority of the books I have seen are in similar condition and appears to be a favorite and well-read over the years. This book is over 77 years of age and was beloved for many years and there is wear shown on the spine (to include part of the covering on the spine is missing – noticeable in the photo with the tape measure top and bottom spine area), wear on corners, etc. along with some scotch tape and a name written on the interior cover page.
