Description: Beautiful Lidded Ginger Jar. 47 cm tall 26 cm at the widest part. weight approx 4.5 kghand painted flowers and butterfly cornflower blue on white with green and brown branches - beautiful!!Made in Italy circa 1980s. Excellent condition - the whole item is hand made so has a few factory bumps and a rustic appeal typical of Italian pottery. a tiny slither of a chip on the side of lid approx 1/2 millimeter wide- a scratch on the top of the finial that has had a restoration, hard to notice however its there. Overall this piece is in excellent condition. beautifully hand made and hand painted standing 47 cm high. Made in Italy painted to the underside.
