The outside frame is faux wood in a walnut color and is also made of plastic and measures 14" x 8". The glass cover is real glass. The sticker on the backside of the frame reads "Style # 5902-51", "Finish: Walnut", "Size: 6 x 12" and "Subject: Antique trains". This item is in great shape but could use a dusting on the interior behind the glass.
