Description: This is a lot of four (4) vintage Goebel Hummel figurines--all are TMK 2 from the 1950s. Chimney Sweep HUM 12/1 - First introduced in 1935 as part of the original group displayed at the Leipzig Fair, this figurine was called "Smoky." It was designed by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1935. Chimney Sweep is a TMK 2 (1950-59) and stands 5.5 inches tall.It does have some minor age-related crazing on the base and on the boy's face and hands, which is to be expected on Hummels that over 70 years old. He has no chips, cracks, or repairs. Little Sweeper HUM 171 - Little Sweeper was first designed by master sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1944. It is a TMK 2 (1950-59) and stands 4.5 inches tall. She has a few small age-related crazing marks by her feet and no chips, cracks, or repairs. Postman HUM 119 - Master sculptor Arthur Moeller crafted this piece in 1939. Postman is also a TMK 2 (1950-59) and stands 5.25 inches tall. Being an early piece, the Postman is carrying five letters in his pouch. Later versions carry four letters. Postman has some crazing on the base and faint crazing on his face. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. Waiter HUM 154/0 - First crafted by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1943 and known as "Chef of Service" and "Little Waiter", this figurine has appeared with several different labels on the wine bottle. This one is marked, "Rhein Wine." Waiter is a TMK 2 (1950-59) and stands 6.25 inches tall. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. He does have age-related crazing on the base, coat, and pants.
