Vintage HUMMEL 1951 Standing and Kneeling Shepherds Plus Lamb Nativity GOEBEL

Description: Up for bid are 3 figurines from M.J. Hummel's nativity set identified by the number 214. The pieces were made by Goebel of W. Germany in 1951. They include the standing shepherd (214/F) which features 2 attached lambs at his feet, the kneeling shepherd (214/G) as well as, a small lamb (214/0) All three are marked "by W. Goebel, W. Germany 1951" on the bottom along with their respective numbers, which are difficult to capture with the camera. They are all marked M.J. Hummel - on the bottom of the lamb, at the back bottom of the standing shepherd's shawl, and across the kneeling shepherd's backside. The standing shepherd measures 7" tall, 4 inches front to back and 4" at its widest. The kneeling shepherd is 5" tall, 4" front to back and just under 3" wide, while the lamb is 2-3/4" in length and 1-3/4" tall. All are in excellent pre-owned condition with no chips or cracks. There is some crazing (fine lines in the outer glaze) on the front of the kneeling shepherd's shirt & and little on his face. The standing shepherd has a little on his face as well as some under the chin of the smallest lamb at his feet. The individual lamb is perfect with none at all!
