Description: The Honda E40 II was a 17cc 4 stroke generator made in Japan in the 1960s that produced 40 Watts/110V. It was Honda’s first portable generator that was made for Sony’s micro TV portable back around 1963. This Honda E40 II generator was purchased new by my late grandfather at Westlock Cycle Shop, Alberta, Canada. Video of generator running: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/yw34zy8ffuultb9x828ns/2024-10-21-16.38.57.mov?rlkey=vkwux2i8jvlwscl83qjuvyt1v&dl=0 It was smoking slightly when I had it running, but I haven’t tried to start it in at least two years so it may just be carbon build up. The fuel has been drained from the system for shipping purposes. NOTE: This is an antique for collectors, not something you would use to power appliances unless you were desperate!
