Description: Vintage Hobart Dayton Moneyweight Scale 30# Capacity, which came out of an old southern country store. Hobart acquired the Dayton Scale Company in 1934. There is an inspection/certification sticker on this scale that dates from 1974-1979. So, this scale would have been made somewhere between 1934 and 1979. Good vintage condition. See pictures for more detail. It does work, although I can't vouch for the accuracy. We just haven't tried that out. Very heavy--probably around 50 lbs. Local pick-up ONLY.
