Description: Vintage hand made Hi-Carbon steel fixed blade trench art hunting and fishing knife with Lucite handle and hand made leather sheath. Blade is 5.5", overall length is approx. 9.5". Knife is extremely sharp. Pummel at the end of blade is brass. Blade has scratches, staining, and pitting in metal, from normal use. There are some very small jagged places close to the tip on blade. Pictures will show the area. Which can be cleaned up with a proper sharpening. The pitting on blade is probably from moisture. Knife does not have a makers mark. Lucite handle has scratches and marks from normal use. Also there is some slight movement in Lucite spacers. There are no chips or cracks in handle. Knife is very well balanced and built, knife feels good in your hand. Leather sheath is quite unique, and very nicely made. It fits the knife very well. Who ever made this knife and sheath did a wonderful job. This is a one of a kind piece. You just don't run into this everyday. Knife and sheath have been in storage for a number of years.
