The leather has a smooth pattern with an elk leather laced seam. The leather is soft & supple. The stitching is all intact, no fraying. No cracks or crazing of the leather. It will fit a 2 7/8" belt width. The carry case is not lined. The snap closure works properly. The carry case is approximately 12.5" long x 4" wide & narrows to 2.5" at the end of the case.
