Vintage Hat Box/Wig Case; Victorian Floral Tapestry Design; Zipper W/Lock & Key

Description: This beautiful tall cylinder shaped hat box and wig case is completely covered in a gorgeous tapestry fabric with a Victorian floral design in muted colors of pinks, peach, yellows and greens. The case has a sturdy top black handle held on by silver tone hardware and a silver tone zipper entry in the middle of the case. The zipper pull has a locking mechanism and an antique silver tone key is included that works perfectly and easily to lock and unlock the case. The bottom of the case is covered in a black sturdy vinyl material with three antique silver tone round peg feet for protection. The interior of the case and lid are completely lined in a washable vinyl fabric in turquoise blue with a deep gathered pocket in the lid. A white styrofoam wig head is included with the case. The dimensions of the case are 13” x 13” round, 13 1/2” high, 7 1/2” deep inside and 42” around. The exact age of the hat box and wig case is not known but this particular style cases were produced in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. The case is in wonderful vintage condition with no damage or fraying to the tapestry fabric, no chips, cracks, holes, or stains anywhere on the exterior and no damage to the zipper. It appears the interior center stand to hold the wig head is missing but the interior fabric is also in wonderful condition with no tears, rips, holes, uplifted areas or stains and there are no odors.
