Description: VINTAGE Hand Carved Sandalwood Figure - Collection Mel'Ange, Made in Mozambique This is a VINTAGE hand-carved statue of a woman holding a bag on her head. The statue is a bust, and only shows her head and torso (along with the bag). This was hand-carved in Mozambique out of sandalwood (it even has that beautiful aroma) for Collection Mel'Ange. She is about 9 inches tall and 3 inches wide. She is beautifully carved by hand, and would be a beautiful addition to any decor. She is in EXCELLENT CONDITION! She has no chips or scratches. The wood is bright and vibrant. There is a small crack in one of the handles of the handbag on her head (see last photo), but it does not detract from the overall aesthetic of the piece.
