Vintage GI JOE 12" ATOMIC MAN w/ Bionic Eye Arm Leg - 1975 HASBRO

Description: Vintage GI JOE 12" ATOMIC MAN w/ Bionic Eye, Arm, Leg (HASBRO 1975). I am the original owner of this G.I. Joe action figure, which is in very good condition for his age. (From what I can see, you will be hard pressed to find another one in this good of condition, which I would say rates somewhere between very good and near mint.)Notably, this GI JOE had rubberized hands, which allowed him to grip things, including the handle for the helicopter blades (more about those below). Of note: GI JOE lost part of his pointing finger on his left hand, but other than that he is in great shape. This GI JOE comes with his original outfit, which was comprised of brown shorts and a short-sleeved camo shirt. Most notably, it comes with a two-piece set of blades. As I recall, the idea was that this bionic GI JOE could use his bionic arm to twirl the blades and make it fly like a helicopter. (I've included close-up photos of the blades to show the product labeling and also some small imperfections on parts of the blade; it looks like there was some small damage caused by melting.)I'm thinking this GI JOE could make for a nice gift for someone who grew up in the 1970s ... or anyone who likes the old, classic GI JOES, back when they were still made in the U.S.A.
