Description: Offered here is a German Naval Air Force Patch. It was issued by the German Naval Air Force for their second wing of Tornado fighter bombers (Marinefleigergeschwader 2 or MFG 2). They flew IDS variant swing wing Tornados from 1986-2005 from Eggebek Air Base, Germany until the German Navy ceased fast jet operations in 2005 and the wing duly disbanded.
