Vintage Fuller Calculator, Cylindrical Slide Rule, 1924, Stanley London

Description: Professor Fuller's helical/cylindrical calculators were manufactured for 94 years, a testimony to the quality of their design and manufacture. Only around 14500 were produced. They are equivalent to a conventional slide rule with a 41ft 8in / 500in / 12.7m long scale. FFI see the many websites about them, or visit a museum such as TNMoC in Bletchley. This example was made in 1924, has a mahogany box, mahogany handle, reproduction instruction booklet (as sold on Ebay), and the "spade shaped" brass mount. Excellent condition for its age, as shown in the photos. There is the usual attractive patina on the wood and metal surfaces. There are a couple of minor brown marks on the scale; see photos. Nonetheless, the scale is fully visible and usable. Please examine the photos carefully, and if you have any questions please ask before purchasing. This will be sent "tracked delivery". I don't intend to make a profit from the shipping. It will be well packaged in multiple layers of bubble wrap, in a cardboard box, so it shouldn't be damaged by any normal shipping activities. However, if on delivery the packaging appears significantly damaged, please take photos as evidence before and during opening the package.
