From research, the "666" represents the New York street address of Bazaar Francais, a specialty kitchen store. That establishment no longer exists.The pan that holds the ceramic insert has not been polished. The inside has some discoloration. The handles are well attached and sturdy. The pan bottom is flat and even. The ceramic insert does not have any cracks, chips or repairs. It is creamy white. The "Hall" trademark is stamped on the bottom with 1082. Made in the USA. The lid fits well but has some discoloration on the inside. Overall height is 5.5". The copper pan has a 5" diameter and the ceramic insert has an inside diameter of 4.5". Pan base diameter is 6".
