Description: Vintage Fostoria Coin Collection Pedestal Cake Stand Plate Vintage Fostoria Coin Collection Pedestal Cake Stand Plate. Measures 10 1/4" in diameter and is 6 3/4" tall. Part of the Fostoria Glass "Coin" collection. The stand base is adorned with the Liberty Bell and Colonial Soldier 1887 frosted coins. Fostoria introduced the 'Coin' pattern in crystal clear glass in 1958. There are four basic frosted coin designs: the liberty bell, colonial soldier cameo, the torch, and eagle. The date on the original Fostoria 'Coin' pattern was 1887 to commemorate Fostoria's founding in Fostoria, Ohio. This piece is in Very Good, Gently Used, Vintage Condition there are no chips, cracks or repairs. It is a heavy piece weighing 5lbs, 4 oz.
