This piece dates back to the third battle of Ushant ( Bataille du 13 prairial an 2) which was a naval battle in 1794 between Britain and The Revolutionary France at the start of the French Revolutionary Wars . One side is intricately etched with Admiral Howe and the other side with the ship The Brunswick and The Glorious 1st of June. See photos.
