Description: A vintage (60’s or so?) Faber Castell slide rule, Duplex 2 / 82, with box, instruction leaflet and a white measuring scale (slightly damaged at one end). Very well made and has obviously been a well used (and valued) item - parts of the slide rule and box have been incised ‘D Johnson’, and the instruction leaflet has a signature. CONDITION - the personalisation mentioned, some surface wear, dust and a few signs of age (please see pics) . The side of the cursor may have a small missing piece (please see pics) but this could be as it was made. All moves smoothly though, and generally secure. MEASUREMENTS - rule is 33cm long and 4.7cm wide.
