Description: I'm a magazine addict. Nothing makes me happier than getting a bunch of new magazines. Except maybe a bunch of new magazines and a cupcake. Since I've been looking into getting some backyard chickens and building some sort of cool chicken coop I really wanted to see how it was done back in the day. So I've been leafing through some very nice vintage poultry magazines and would like for someone else to enjoy them too. February 1939 8 by 11 1/4 inches. 50 pages. I'm no expert but it seems much of what is printed here is still useful today. And certainly and interesting look at chickens in 1939. This issue has articles on crossbred chickens and pedigree breeding and the facts on vitamin E.
