This is a very nice vintage Raul Blanco evening dress in size 8. The dress is black velvet on top with a black taffeta bottom. The dress is fully lined and has a layer of tulle between the skirt and the lining, giving the dress a very flattering look and feel. The skirt has just enough body without excess poof. This dress is simple elegance. Approximate measurements laying flat are as follows: Pit to pit 18” Shoulder to hem 51” The velvet extends 21” from shoulder to waist. The skirt is 30” from piping to hem. The back of the dress has a three button closure at the neck with a dramatic curved opening. There is piping between the velvet and the taffeta skirt giving it a nice finished look. The dress has minimal shoulder pads simply tacked in place. Could be easily removed if desired. The sleeves have a one button closure at the cuff. This dress is not perfect, but is in very good preowned condition. Very minimal signs of use or wear. Worn once. Tiny imperfection to velvet just to the left near shoulder in back as shown in photo #3. I do believe in full disclosure as I really want you to be very happy with your purchase.
