Description: Beautiful length of vintage English furnishings fabric in an amazing very large scale lush floral medallion pattern. Simply gorgeous, lots of exquisite ornamental detail. Wonderful palette of a variety of lovely hues; rose, apricot, marigold, gold, blue, tawny reds etc..The ground is a fabulous golden yellow almost mustard tone. Makes one think of the English cloths from the 1930's but my hunch on this one is probably a fine quality furnishings textile closer to the 1970's-80's time frame, though certainly has a much earlier nuance in interiors projects and no doubt English printed, the likes of Sanderson and such. Timeless. Excellent for home pieces; fabulous pillows, window elements as well as bags, etc..I think a small upholstery project such as a bench or chair back would also be quite lovely. . ~* ~* Condition is very nice for it's age. Doesn't appear to have been used. I imagine cut for a project not finished. ~* Measures 52" wide by 30" long ~ There will be 2 very large medallions which measure aprox 24" on this panel so could make 2 beautiful pillow fronts (in either direction really as it has graphic appeal either way) or a nice window pelmet etc...
