Description: This lovely vintage Empire Porcelain Co. demitasse cup and saucer set is a beautiful addition to any chintz collection. The intricate lilac time pattern, in green colorway, is sure to please. The set includes a cup that is 2" tall, 2.25" diameter across the top, and a saucer of 4.375" diameter. The set is made of ceramic materials, with hand-painted trim and a green transfer-ware design of lilacs (purple and pink) with multiple daffodil like flowers. It’s very spring like! It was manufactured in the 1930s in England and is an original vintage piece. I feel or see no chips or cracks, but there is a bit of crazing, commensurate with age.
