Description: For your consideration is a 1960's King Zephyr Alto Saxophone with original King case and neck strap included. This vintage horn arrives to us in fair to good condition, but would likely need service with regulation and adjustment upon it's arrival to it's new home. The horn (SN: 376545) is dated using saxpics website. This ranges the production of Zephyr models to between 1935 and 1975. Between the 370xxx and 400xxx serial numbers, it would be somewhere between 1960 and 1965, so we estimate 1963 or 1964 depending on the production output of those years. Horn shows area of denting, lacquer wear, dings, scuffs, and other general cosmetic afflictions. Additionally, the horn would likely need to have a technician go through it to fine tune and adjust the instrument for optimal playability. Finally, the case shows similar age appropriate wear and a sticky right latch to the case. Would be a fantastic project piece for a collector or a player enthusiast who would love a 1960's era horn.
