Description: Vintage Dual Medallion St Nicola Da Tolentino And St Rita Da Cascia. Engraved on one side is St Nicola Da Tolentino across the middle with “Protettore Della Chiesa Militante E Purgante” around the edge which translates into “Protector of the Militant and Purgative Church”. On the top is the image of presumably the saint, while on the bottom half is an image of a group. On the other side of the medallion is a variation of the scene when St Rita received her stigma on the forehead. Around the edge are the words “S Rita Da Cascia Pregate Per Noi”. Which translates into “Saint Rita From Cascia Pray For Us”. The medal is very worn and is made of a non-magnetic metal which is very light for its size, possibly aluminum or zinc. The loop at the top is damaged and slightly crumpled, it could use repair or reinforcement if it is to be worn again.
