Description: Very collectible rare folkart reverse painted on glass picture by artist David Gottshall called Cocalico Road Blacksmith Shop. Scene shows homestead and blacksmith shop next door. There are men shoeing the horses and men, dogs, and cows in the fields. Horses are pulling wagons on the dirt road to the blacksmith. Lots of details down to smoke coming out of chimney and clothes hanging on the clothesline. It is signed on front DAVID GOTTSHALL 1990 COCALICO ROAD DENVER. Measurements: picture only 9 1/4" X 7 1/2" and with frame is 12 1/2" X 10 3/4". Also has writing in pencil on back (see pics). The frame is also handmade by author.
