Description: This is a 2-blade TRAPPER made by the COLONIAL KNIFE CO. in Providence, R.I. in the late 1960s. It is part of their OLD CUTLER line and measures 3.4" long closed. It has a 2.5" long Clip point main blade and a 1.5" long Pen blade made of CARBON STEEL. The blades are tight with NO WOBBLE but the snap is weak. It has NICKEL SILVER BOLSTERS and a BRASS LINER and PINS. The light yellow handles are made of acrylic plastic and are in very good condition with just a tiny pin crack by one of the front pins. It has the COLONIAL badge embedded on the front side. It has not been cleaned or polished by me and is in as-found condition. Please see the pictures. The tang on the main blade is stamped OLD CUTLER over U.S.A. The Pen blade is stamped with the U.S. Patent No. 3,317,996 which was for a new Bolster Assembly design and was granted to Colonial owner Antonio Paolantonio in 1967.
