Description: Vintage Clegg VHF FM Amateur Radio Transceiver Model FM-28 w/Manual Working! Includes Mic.(not original, but same style), mobile mount (unused), one foot power cord w/fuse, owner's manual (photocopy). The included manual not only covers operation, but also alignment, circuit description, voltage charts, PCB component locations, chassis details, and schematic diagrams. Total of 33 pages. When testing, found some controls were dirty (intermittent), but now work fine, after using contact cleaner. Measured output power is switchable, about 1 W to 25 W. All lamps, LEDs, are working.. Meter tries to move, but something is preventing the needle from moving properly.Does not have an internal PL encoder. Has a 7 pin accessory jack for connecting a PL and/or touch tone encoder. Receive and transmit appear to operate properly. Did not check actual receive sensitivity, or make any adjustments. Has a Velcro patch on top cover. (mates with TT-2, which I have listed separately. Note: power meter, and coax cables, used for testing, are not included. While this radio is working properly at this time (other than meter), it is a vintage radio, a problem could occur later, for which I can not be held responsible. Feel free to ask questions.
