Description: Here is a Vintage Chinese Calligraphy Cicada INK Black Gold Stick In Box, Broken Glass Lid. It is some "Encre de Chine" which means "Ink from China" but I think that this is what we call "India Ink", which doesn't make sense, because China is not India... Anyway, it was made in China and I bought it in Paris, France, about 25 years ago. It has never been used. It is mostly meant to be used for Calligraphy. It is a beautiful object and useful as well. Size of the Ink Stick: 2 13/16" long, 1 1/8" wideSize of the Box: 3 3/4" long, 2 3/16" wide, 3/4" tall Condition: I has never been used, but the glass of the box lid has been broken in the moving process from France to USA. All the rest is brand new, including the ink stick. Please, check the photos as well.
