Description: This is a vintage Case 62009 1/2 clip blade “Barlow” pattern pocket knife. The tang stamp is CASE XX USA 10 dot 1970.The knife is 3-3/8” closed with brass liners.The blade steel is CV (carbon) steel.Both blades have strong snap with half stops.Both blades are tight no wobble. The chestnut bone handles have amazing color, no cracks or damage. Near mint knife - factory blade finish, factory edges. Never used or sharpened.The clip blade has a hint of faint tarnish at the blade spine near the nail pull.There is no original box, as when these knives were made, Case boxed knives in bulk, not individually.The knife will be shipped wrapped in a new Case anti-tarnish wrapper and in a recent Case box.The handles on this knife were crafted from South American Zebu cattle shin bone. Genus/Species - Bos indicus or Bos taurus indicus.
