Description: What a find! This is a GORGEOUS pair of Vintage ITALIAN ceramic CAPODIMONTE swans. Perfect for a vintage elegance decor! They each have an opening. I’m not exactly sure what their original purpose was but possibly napkin rings. One features flowers on the base. The other does not so I can only assume one was meant for the masculine figure in the home and the other represented the female matriarch in the family. The figurines each measure roughly 5” tall. One is signed with RL Made in Italy and the Capodimonte symbol on the bottom. I also have many other Italian items listed so check out my other auctions. The figurines are being sold AS-IS in the condition found/pictured. The one with the flowers on the base has a chip on one flower. There are multiple marks and variations, mainly on the bottom commensurate with age and use. There are other minor variations that appear to be intentional due to the handmade nature of the pieces….some flat surfaces and marks. PLEASE see all pictures for more specifics.
