Description: Vintage Capacitors/Resistors/Etc., Bag Of 100+/- This is a 13.5 ounce bag of vintage, pulled caps and resistors collected over 40 years by a retired electrical engineer. These were pulled as good from gear that was being scrapped, and saved by the engineer who couldn't bear to see anything good thrown away. We have pounds and pounds of these parts. They are a real mix. Keep in mind that over time the values of some of these parts may have drifted. Expect to find some other non-cap and non-resistor small parts in the mix. These are packaged as bags of about 13.5 ounces, so that once they are packed to ship they will still be under one pound weight. A test count of two bags produced 105-110 caps per bag. The actual count per bag will fluctuate, as some bags may have larger parts, some may have smaller. Bags with mostly large caps may have a bit less than 100, bags with more small caps may have a good bit bit more than 100. Bags have not been cherry-picked, the more-sought parts have not been pulled out, they are being sold just as they were found. If you enjoy looking for treasures, and you work on gear where the original parts are no longer available or the correct values are no longer available, you might fine real value in a bag of salvaged caps and resistors. As of June 2024, these bags are tending to be more resistors than caps, and expect some NOS resistors to be in the mix. The boxes we opened recently conatined a good number of many decades old NOS resistors. Everything else is the same, just these bags will now be heavier on resistors than caps.
