Description: For your consideration is this Recent Vintage Estate Find! This is a Bronze or Bronze Plated rendition of the Artful Dodger Character from the famed Charles Dickens novel Oliver Twist! Jennings Bros was the maker of this lone Bookend. I find it to be worthy as a stand alone sculpture considering it's iconic subject matter. It is a wonderful piece and would be great as a single bookend, paper weight, or just as it is as décor. The bottom plate is loose and included although not pictured, and there is a crack in the base behind his feet, but it wasn't obvious so I almost overlooked it at first, I tried to get a picture of it for your inspection. Pictures are taken with flash and without. I did not clean this Bronze piece and am leaving it up to you. This lot is being sold as is and as pictured.
