Description: You are bidding on a wonderful vintage Bridgewater State College (now University) tankard measuring 5 3/4" tall. This mug has some good age and is marked 1965 on the front (the year Bridgewater State went from State Teachers College at Bridgewater to Bridgewater State College). On the back, it has the name of the original owner (Judy). The mug was manufactured by Balfour in Attleboro MA. It is in very good condition with no chips or flakes. Some very light crazing in the glaze, as you often get when these tankards age, but overall a terrific item. I use the US Postal Service and use priority mail to ensure quick delivery although size/weight can often be a deterrent due to a balloon fee on boxes over a certain size. In simplest terms, I ship priority mail unless it is a book (then I ship using media mail) or if the item is bigger than a breadbox or heavier than 5 lbs (unless I can fit it in a flat rate box). I've been selling on Ebay since 1998 but this is not a full time job.
