Description: This is a Rare Vintage Boxed Tenka-Ichi Soroban / Counting Abacus (No. 493). Made by the Satsumaya Soroban Co. of Tokyo / Japan, the 12 ½” x 2 ¾” x ¾” box, contains a 36-page instructional booklet, as well as a slightly smaller black & brown plastic Abacus, still wrapped in its original clear plastic bag. The Abacus contains 21 rows or columns, with 5 beads in each row. While the Abacus itself is in Excellent condition, with no apparent wear, There is; light wear to the clear plastic bag; very minor wear to the instructions booklet; & splits to the 2 short corners of one side of the lid.
