Vintage BARBIE SLEEPING PRETTY OF #1636 EXC/COMP PILLOW Comb Brush Shoes BIN!

Description: Barbie's beautiful pale blue peignoir put her in the mood for sweet dreams! This Sleeping Pretty outfit is from 1964, and is in Excellent and Complete condition. The outfit includes the blue nylon robe with ribbon ties, matching blue nightgown, vintage hanger, a blue satin pillow, white brush and comb, and blue heels with replaced poms. Everything here is original vintage Mattel. I don't grade anything as "Mint" unless I've just taken it out of the original packaging. I've collected vintage Barbie for 30+ years, and I scrutinize items I sell on eBay. If you have a question that I haven't answered in my description, please ask me:) I'm selling a large vintage Barbie collection on eBay, so you may want to save me as a seller. Barbie's lovely robe is a cloud of pale blue nylon with white lace on the bodice. Both the robe and gown here are in nice shape; they don't show hardly any snagging. The 3 buttons at the bodice are present, along with the original elastic loops. The elastic loops are dried out and fragile, and may need to be replaced soon. The buttons have lost their pearl coating, but you could replace them if you like. There is faint soil on the robe's lace. The satin ribbon ties have staining on the left tie (left in the pics). They also show wear and fraying in spots. Possibly you could use a Clorox bleach pen on just that spot, or you could replace both ribbons. The gown still has its button and loop closures at the back, though they are also fragile. The blue satin pillow is missing the button on 1 side. The side with the button shows a couple tiny spots of soil, and some small areas where the fabric is worn, see pic #3. The lace trimming the pillow is an aged-looking off white color. Barbie's white plastic comb and brush keep her hair looking good! The blue mules have replaced poms, and are marked Japan on the bottom of one shoe. They don't have any splits. One of the mules had tape residue on the back of the shoe in pic #3. It came off completely after I took the pics. Sleeping Pretty is a beautiful dream on your favorite vintage Barbie doll!
