In very good condition, there is no writing, edge turndowns, rips or odors. Some small water stains on a few pages but not many, a couple of small stains on the outside edges otherwise, normal shelfwear consistent with age. A couple of bends on the back outer cover (see picture 2). The pictures are wonderful from the era and the recipes are fabulous. There are 2 pages for the index, and usage of chocolate, tons of colored pictures. This is a flip up book and my mom kept it in a small box, taking it out when needed so she could make the recipes.
