Description: Vintage Augarten Vienna 'Maria Theresia' 6.125" SAUCER ONLY-Cream Soup or T-Cup The Augarten porcelain manufactory in the heart of Vienna (Vien), with almost a modified beehive backstamp, has a 300-year tradition of producing the finest tableware and exquisite decorative objectsby hand. The factory which still produces this lovely pattern, somewhat reminiscent of Herend's Chinese Bouquet Green, is a maker of luxury china. What is particularly lovely about this older style is the shape of the saucer - sort of a rounded square with the corners scalloped. Scattered on the saucer are small sprigs of green daisies and one central posy with a large daisy and other flowers all in green. The rim is trimmed in gold. The 6.125 inch saucer will fit either the cream soup cup or the tea-cup.There are 2 offers of one saucer each. Note that 5-Piece Place Settings and cream soup sets are listed separately. Enjoy!
