Description: Rare original artisan handmade Murano Venice gold look silver foil bead necklace, ca. 1920’s - 1930’s. The beads are a textured gold yellow glass over silver interior foiling. Original brass bead caps & bead spacers between each approximately 1/2” (12.7mm) diameter bead. 19 large beads plus 6 smaller (6.5mm) 1/4” diameter extender beads. Total necklace measures 16” long. This gold look bead is rare in its wearability - most other silver foil necklaces were made in more limiting colors of blue, green, pink, etc. Condition is vintage preowned excellent with only 1 lightly chipped extender bead at the length the original owner wore it at.
