Description: Vintage ALFONSO RAMPONE Alto Sax w/Vito Case & Hite Premier Mouthpiece. Sax Serial #9212. This Italian alto has been cleaned and *adjusted, and plays very good with an even, clear tone on the included Hite Premier mouthpiece. Pads, corking, and felts have been replaced where needed, and the springs show good response. Cosmetically, there is one mild dent on the front of the bottom bow guard, crease repair on the back of the bell lip with one ding (see video), and plenty of scuffing (finish wear). It was very difficult to find a hard case that would accommodate this horn, but this older Vito case gave it a snug fit and it's clean and very sturdy. Included with the case are a new red microfiber polishing cloth, a brass lyre, a new neckstrap, an extra new Rico Plasticover reed, a sanitized neck swab (helps keep the neck stationary in the case), and the Hite Premier mouthpiece w/ligature, cap, and new Rico Plasticover reed.
