On offer is an authentic, vintage Art Nouveau/Art Deco style .925 STERLING SILVER ring that is adorned with a beautiful natural hand-cut and polished rectangle shaped flat cabochon DENDRITIC/MOSS PLUME agate stone. The ring band has ornate motifs on both sides of the stone. The ring is Hallmarked STERLING and OB for OSTBY BARTON. We believe it was created circa 1910. This classic ring was skillfully crafted with attention to detail and is in very good vintage condition (see ALL photos for an accurate detailed depiction). The color of the agate is a blend of tortoise shell brown tone inclusions on a translucent ground (any white marks, lines or spots are due to lighting reflections and are not flaws). The one-of-a-kind dendritic moss agate appears to be from the Oregon or Montana area of the United States. The hand-cut and polished rectangle shape flat cabochon Agate stone is in very good condition with no chips, scratches or cracks and is firmly and securely set in the silver. The Agate measures approx. 7/16" long x 5/16" wide. The ring plaque measures approx 1/2" x 3/8"; the shank measures approx. 5/16" tapering to 1/8" wide. This ring will fit approx. size 5.5 and weighs 2.7 grams - .85 ounce.
