Description: VINTAGE ANTIQUE OAK PORTABLE WOODEN WRITING SLOPE BOX. DRAWER & BRASS HANDLES. Lovely Antique portable writing slope box made from oak. Size; Height 14cm Width 30.5cm Depth 21.5cm The writing slope is covered with a green base, which is in poor condition and really needs replacing. The rest of the box is in good used condition. It has storage sections under each side of the slope. There are also 3 small compartments for ink pots and one with a flip up lid for pens across the top. The box has a drawer on one side, which is the full width of the box and is held closed with a removable brass pin. The box has brass fittings, including lock hinges and handles on the sides for easy carrying, one of which is also used to open the drawer. The box is lockable, but unfortunately, there is no key. Please look closely at the pictures for more details and condition. Offers welcome.
