Description: Here’s some rich history. 2 incredible early 90s sound crew t-shirts from Freetown Christiania. A community/ commune in Copenhagen, Denmark, started late 60s closed/ redeveloped 2000s, famous for 'pusher street' where you could walk in & buy puff from various dealers, all with little stalls along the main drag. Everyone smoked, although absolutely NOTHING else was allowed in, very strick drug policy. Consider it a hippie town. Cafes, bars, lots of things... including The Grey Hall, music venue. They had their own Crew running out of there - stagehands, roadies. They did a lot of shows in Denmark, the person who gave this to me got to know them well, and then became one of them... They did lighting at Roskilde Festival dance stage for 7yrs, 91-98. These T-shirts are exceedingly rare, not well known, only a handful in existence.
