Description: This is a vintage photograph enlarged 8X10 reprint by the the Thiokol Corporation of Ogden Utah. The photograph is a reprint from original photos taken during the construction of the Transcontinental Railroad connecting the Eastern and Western United States and was completed in 1869. These photos are from the Eastern line that connected with the Western line at Promontory Summit in Box Elder County, Utah. This reprint is estimated to have been produced in the 1970s before Thiokol merged with Morton Norwich Products and then became known as Morton Thiokol.
