Description: This listing is for an 8” tall green Schweppes Bitter Lemon glass bottle. The item is a stunning emerald green color and has a great original paper label. The label reads, “Lemon Quinine Drink. Schweppes Bitter Lemon. Made from whole lemons. With Quinine Salt and Sodium Benzoate as Preservative. Bottled under authority of Schweppes (USA) Limited. New York, N.Y. From Essence Imported from Schweppes, London, England.” There is a stain on the label. See photos. The bottle itself is mostly textured on the is molded to say, “No Deposit” on the top third on one side and “No Return” on the opposite side. The bottom edge of the bottle reads, “10 FL OZ.” The underside of the bottle reads, “Not to be refilled. 7 GK-20173. O 15.” There are no chips, cracks or repairs.
