Description: Vintage 70s Madame Alexander 17" Elise Ballerina #1640 (1974-75) Brunette17-inch vinyl ballerina with hard plastic body. Brown hair with flower sprig crown. Blue sleep eyes. Black velvet choker. Pink tutu with tulle ruffle straps around the neckline. Pink satin bodice and waistband of gold thread and sequins. Pink tulle (dusty) pleated skirt with tulle band attached around with pink flowers. Pink satin panties, hose, and ballet slippers. My mom purchased this doll on eBay in 1999. See p. 14 of the 1974 Madame Alexander catalogue and p. 15 of the 1975 Madame Alexander catalogue.She is in very good, vintage condition--check out her hair! I have tried to show areas where there may be some discoloration of clothes and limbs from handing or display.It's time to downsize! All items come from either my mother's extensive doll collection, my own, or that of my sister and good friend. All of the items have been stored carefully in a climate-controlled, non-smoking, pet-friendly home. There may be signs of wear on boxes from storage.
