In 1952 Union Cutlery renamed itself KA-BAR Cutlery Inc. in order to capitalize on widespread public recognition of the name and trademark. In 1996, Cutco Corporation, manufacturer of Cutco Cutlery, acquired the company. This fork has the prong fabricated from the stainless steel.
