Description: VINTAGE 1989 TIMEX ZeMOMETER - NEW - LIMITED RUN - SUPER RARE WATCH ACCESSORY! These are all new and in the original packaging from 1989! I would like to note that these all have various amounts of wear, but I will try to ship out the best conditioned pieces first. This listing is just for the packaged ZeMometers (all other photos are just examples and a picture of the stock I have to sell). How I came about these cool vintage pieces: Recently, I discovered the ZeACCESSORIES that were paired with Timex digitals for a short time from the late 80’s to the early 90’s. These unique accessories were the ZeMOMETER, ZeFINDER, ZeBUG, and ZeRAP. These thermometers, compasses, lip balm/sun screen holders, and adjustable straps could all be paired with Timex watches back in the day.I purchased a case of new old stock from a man by the name of Erik Nordskog, who was one of the original CREATORS of the ZeBUG and other ZeACCESSORIES in the late 80's and 90's! He detailed his memories and experience developing such unique accessories for Timex Watches. He is an avid surfer, and grew tired of going back to shore to reapply lip balm/sunscreen. Thus, the ZeBUG was born. A small container that latches on to watch bands, sunglasses, ski poles, etc. We discussed his product designs, contract with Timex, the products success vs. competitors, how he still has inventory, how he used to wear a K-28 Surf and Timex Victory, and much more.The idea was to create new ZeBUG designs each year, but the 80's were coming to an end and Timex decided to focus on just watches again. This ZeMOMETER was developed shortly after the ZeBUG, and is a thermometer that can slide on to any watch band. This accessory is super hard to come by due to its limited run with Timex.
