Description: For your consideration is this rare and Vintage Riddell PAC3 Football Helmet from the San Francisco 49ers. Helmet is a size 7 1/8 and shows attractive scuffing and dings from game use. Vintage helmet has all that you see including authentic padding, authentic team issued decals and striping as used in the late 1970s-1980s, Rare Schutt Large Red Dot OPO facemask as shown in photos, as well as vintage and authentic leather jaw pads, Riddell wildcat sweatband, and matching 4-point low hook-up chin strap. While we cannot make out any identifying markings to determine which players might have worn this helmet, there is a piece of athletic tape present in the helmet which would have had the information but the writing has faded. Relive the glory days of The 49ers first Super Bowl championships with a helmet from that era. Was this helmet part of one of those teams? Hard to say as we have no history on this helmet, but put it on your shelf and wonder what could have been! Will make a stunning display, and looks like it just came off the field!
