VINTAGE 1978 MANTUA HO SCALE STEAM LOCOMOTIVE BUILT UP KIT 4-4-0 GENERAL TESTED

Description: Vintage 1978 Mantua HO gauge "built up" kit 4-4-0 General locomotive and tender, made by Mantua Metal Products Co. Inc. , Woodberry Heights, N.J. Someone did a very fine job in building this. The locomotive & tender are in mint built up condition. The locomotive and tender were placed on the test track & although it was a little sluggish at first in both forward and reverse, once it worked on the test track for a little while it picked up speed and then ran at both fast and slow speeds like a fine-tune clock. No lubricating oils, gels, or sprays were used. I will leave that up to you to fine tune this Precision HO scale locomotive and tender.
