Description: This set of 3 vintage biscuits and dessert tins from the 1970s are a delightful addition to any collection. Made of tin and originating from the United Kingdom, these tins feature dome lids with finials for a classic touch. 1st tin, beautiful, detailed, vibrant floral design with edged gold gilding (some gilding loss). Lid has a dent, on inside of the lid and bottom, someone has scratched in the name Paige. Bottom says Made in England. 2nd tin, oblong blue and green floral patterned with gold gilding outline. Rotating with the floral pattern are multi colored birds on a floral bonsai tree, accented with flowers. Some gilding loss all around. On the bottom, it says Made in Engalnd. 3rd tin, double-edged gold gilding diamond shape panels with gold gilded outlined floral pattern, along side of a multi colored bird perching on a bonsai tree. Gilding loss all around. Bottom has some detereation. It says Made by Danmer Long Island N.Y. 11101 Container made in England. Each tin is 5.5 inches in height and 5 inch diameter openings. There is all over wear that is consistent for their age.
